Greatest Movie Elves

To celebrate the release of Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure, we have taken a look over time to find Five of the most famous and lovable Elves that have hit the big screen.

1. Dudley Moore in Santa Claus the Movie (1985)

Without a doubt one of the best Christmas films that has ever been made. It has been re-made several times, to keep the younger generations involved and is still a classic today. T

his film features more elves in a single scene then anyone in 1985 had ever seen before. With Dudley Moore trying to be the best assistant in his classic British accent, he puts all other elves to shame.

2. Buddy in ELF

Will Farrell in Elf doesn’t exactly spring to mind when you think of an Elf character due to him being a human.

But being raised by Elves makes him a lovable character as he doesn’t quite know how to handle adult life from eating a family dinner to going into business meetings, we think Will Farrell plays an excellent Elf!

3. Henry in Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure

When Henry the Christmas Elf, flees the North Pole with Santa’s sleigh and crash lands into a small American town, you can’t feel sorrier for Henry.

With Santa’s presents then being stolen you think the Elf has single handily ruined Christmas, but with Henrys’ determination and a lot of help from Beethoven, this Elf manages to save Christmas!

4. Liv Tyler in Lord of the Rings

Liv Tyler doesn’t really fit with the word elf but in Lord of the Rings it is Liv and her fellow Elves that protect and help Frodo fight for the ring. Liv makes it onto our list for being the most beautiful Elf we have ever seen.

5. Dobby the House Elf in Harry Potter

When Dobby the house Elf turns up in Harry’s life, Harry tries to deny Dobby, but soon realises that although he isn’t your normal Elf, Dobby does become key in helping Harry Potter survive. Making him number three on our list.

Get in the festive spirit and see our Number 3, Henry the Elf in action as he saves Christmas with our beloved Christmas ambassador Beethoven in Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure, Get your paws on a DVD copy from 14th November 2011!
