It was all good vibes for Johnny Depp on Monday night, when the actor whose split from longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis was officially announced in June stopped by a private shindig for Aerosmith at Harry Morton's Pink Taco Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.

At the venue, which Steven Tyler rented out, an onlooker tells PEOPLE Depp was in "high spirits and [seemed to] really enjoy the party."

Mingling with everyone in the room, including Liv Tyler, Jim Carrey and the hosts of the night, Depp, says the source, table-hopped until about 2:00
