Tonights episode of Project Runway All Stars brought us the much-anticipated finale! Season 2 started with thirteen designers but only three remained to duke it out for the biggest prize in Project Runway history. Who won? And who went home? Take the jump to find out!

For the final challenge, each of the three remaining designers had to put together a high profile runway show featuring a mini collection. And while this type of show typically takes months to design and create, Anthony Ryan, Emilio, and Uli had only four days! But they had full creative license to choose their theme, the music, and the number of pieces that would be in their shows.

After Carolyn described the final challenge, the designers went back to the hotel to brainstorm their collections. Uli chose a winter wonderland theme called Mystical Winter because she had done well previously with light colors and fur and feather embellishments.

Emilio chose Urban Plantation as his theme. He said he wanted to make a controversial statement by portraying the working women of America using classic American fabrics rooted in mens work clothing.

Anthony Ryan chose The Thin Line as his theme and wanted to strike a balance between dark and light places.

After they nailed down their themes, they were off to Mood where they had a budget of $3,000 and 90 minutes to shop. Then they went back to the workroom to get busy on their collections.

Carolyn came in and was accompanied by designers who had been previously eliminated from the competition. She explained that Anthony Ryan, Emilio, and Uli would get to choose a helper to assist them for a total of 30 hours. Anthony Ryan asked Joshua to be his helper but he declined saying, I love you but Im too tired. So he chose Kayne instead.

Next, Uli chose Casanova and Emilio chose Althea. The designers and their helpers went to work but before long, day one was over.

As day two began, Casanova napped in the lounge while Uli workedsome helper! Joanna came in and met with each of the designers to review their work in progress. Uli was working with white and off white fabrics, leather, and fur. Joanna said her designs were very coherent and she understood the girl who would wear them but told Uli to remember that this was a runway show so she should have at least one spectacular piece.

Anthony Ryan said he wanted to take something innocent and create some chaos in it. Joanna said it was going to be a great show and she couldnt wait to watch it.

Emilio had all of his sketches and fabrics laid out on his worktable but he didnt have anything on the manikin. He told Joanna he was going for a mix of 1840s Aunt Jemima and 1940s Rosie the Riveter. She said his collection was very exciting.

As Joanna was leaving, she wished them all luck and told them to use every second they had to work on their collections. Then each designer consulted with Matin from Laura Mercier and decided on the makeup and hair look they wanted for their models.

Then day two was over and the designers went back to their hotel where they shared a toast and thanked their helpers.

Day three started with the designers and their helpers working as hard as they could to finish the collections, but before they knew it, it was time for their helpers to leave. Their 30 hours were up.

The designers said it was a chaotic and stressful day and Anthony Ryan said he had to win or he couldnt do this anymore. He said he simply didnt have the financial means to continue and that drove him that much harder to try to win.

Day four arrived. The designers went to Gotham Hall where they would show their collections. They had three hours to complete their work.

The models arrived and went to hair and makeup before getting dressed. Then it was show time!

Emilios collection was first. He had eight looks. Then Anthony Ryan, who had 7 looks, followed by Uli who also had 7 looks in her collection. All the designers had a great show and impressed the judges and members of the audience.

After the show, the designers met the judges back on the runway for their decision. The judges talked to each designer individually while the other two waited in the lounge.

Emilio was up first. Georgina said he did a spectacular job. Isaac said he was so pleased that Emilio showed something that was so focused, but said he went wrong where his designs went junior. Carolyn said the collection was beautifully constructed. And guest judge, Liv Tyler said she loved his use of color and detailing.

Anthony Ryan was next. Georgina said he had a spectacular collection, but let himself down with the last look because the hem was puckering. Isaac said, That dress blows my mind, referring to Anthony Ryans black and blue dress. Liv agreed saying it was so sexy. Guest judge, Margherita Missoni said the dress was unique and very appealing. And Carolyn said his collection made her feel like she was looking at a contemporary art collection.

Then the judges spoke to Uli. Isaac said he couldnt believe how great the collection was. Georgina said she was astonished that she had created such a concise collection but the faux furs looked a little inexpensive. Carolyn said she was crazy over the neckline of the first piece. Margherita agreed saying she loved the fairytale quality. And Liv said she was completely blown away by the detail.

Then it was time for the judges final deliberations. They recognized they were looking at three very distinct collections and all of them were good. They had mixed feelings and went back and forth trying to decide who the winner was but were finally able to make a decision.

Then they called the designers back to the runway. Carolyn said, The second runner up is Uli.

Anthony Ryan and Emilio both seemed a bit surprised that Uli was in the bottom. Then Carolyn said, And now for the moment weve all been waiting forthe winner of Project runway All Stars is Anthony Ryan.

Emilio looked deflated. Anthony Ryan got emotional and said, Really?

Liv spoke up and told Anthony Ryan she hoped to be the one to wear his black and blue dress. Then Joanna ran out to hug and congratulate him, followed by all the previously eliminated designers.
