Dream on? Nah, Aerosmith WILL play Manila in May
Manila is going to be part of Aerosmiths 2013 world tour, which begins in New Zealand in April and lands in Manila on May.
It is the first time the band is playing the Philippines.

Older fans will remember Dream On from the bands 1973 self-titled debut album and the hard rock hit Dude (Looks Like a Lady) from 1987 and Janies Got a Gun from 1990.
Hip-hop fans also know Aerosmith for writing Walk this Way, famously covered by rappers Run- D.M.C., which opened the collaboration of rock and rap.
Later hits include I Dont Wanna Miss a Thing (1998), which was in the soundtrack OF the movie Armageddon.
Frontman Steven Tyler, who is the dad of the actress Liv, was also judge for two seasons in American Idol. He was a huge fan of contestant Jessica Sanchez, predicting she would win (she didnt).

Aerosmith will perform at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 8.
