Riccardo Tisci's Gang Of Muses Includes A Shirtless Kanye West

It's not every day we stumble upon a photo of couture-clad ladies clutching onto a barely-dressed Kanye West. In the March issue of Vogue, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci surrounds himself with some of his most inspiring musical muses including Liv Tyler, Florence Welch, and Kanye West, pictured above. The photo features the ladies in ethereal, lacy nude gowns exploding with femininity and softness, which starkly contrast Riccardo and Kanye's rigid and intense eye contact. Riccardo wears a tux and bow tie with some facial scruff and tamed curls, while Kanye wears nothing but leather pants, layered beads, white tribal paint, and the "Yeezi" name plate necklace from his spring 2012 collection. We're not exactly sure what this all means, but we're surprised by the lack of clothing on such a fash-forward gentlemen. (P.S.- Does the hand placement in this entire spread feel awkward to you, or is it just us?)

Inside the article, Riccardo dishes on how his passion for music heavily influences his lifestyle. He has traveled all over the world to see Florence, Nicki Minaj, Discodromo, and Bjrk, just to name a few. He also art directed Kanye and Jay-Z's Watch the Throne album, in which Riccardo admitted he was "a little bit scared" to do because he didn't consider himself a graphic artist. When he finally met up with the rap twosome, he was roped into a jam session with Rihanna, Swizz Beatz, and Pharrell Williams. Riccardo was pleasantly surprised when they all openly exchanged ideas like a family giving opinions to each other." He said they were all "sharingwhich is something that fashion is missing.
